So what fills that gap here in 2026? That depends on one question: are you engraving something you already own, or buying a finished engraved gift?

If you're engraving something you already own
Xpress Engraver now sits in Unit #2281A of Guildford Town Centre — the same unit Things Engraved once ran, confirmed on the mall's own store directory. A second Xpress counter operates out of the T&T Supermarket at Central City, the same building as Surrey's other former Things Engraved. Both handle watches, key cutting, and engraving on materials you bring in. Neither lists steel tumblers among their specialties, so call ahead with the item before driving over — a laser calibrated for a watch back isn't automatically set up for a vacuum-insulated bottle wall.
Call ahead with the item and the material before you drive over. A shop set up for watch batteries and key cutting isn't necessarily equipped for a double-wall steel bottle, and a quote given sight-unseen is a guess.
If you're buying an engraved gift
This is the hole the mall counter used to fill. Things Engraved sold the item and the engraving as one purchase — pick a flask, add a name, walk out with a finished gift. What's left in Surrey is two counters built for watches, keys, and repair jobs, not a browse-and-buy gift shelf.
