Things Engraved used to run a counter at Square One, 100 City Centre Drive in Mississauga. That store closed with the rest of the chain in January 2020 — the Yelp listing for it just says "CLOSED," and it's been gone from Square One's directory for years.

So what do you actually do for engraving in Mississauga in 2026? That depends on one question: are you engraving something you already own, or buying a finished engraved gift?

The short answer.

Things Engraved's Square One store closed in January 2020. Royalty Engraving now serves the area for walk-in personalization from its Heartland Town Centre location, and Trophy Gallery Canada handles trophy, plaque, and corporate award engraving. If you want a finished engraved steel tumbler or bottle, order direct from a maker — we engrave to order in our Calgary workshop and ship to Mississauga in 1–3 business days, engraving included.

Your four options in Mississauga, compared

Option Best for The catch
Regional counter (Royalty Engraving) Small personal items, walk-in jewelry and gift engraving Runs out of Heartland Town Centre, not Square One where the old counter was — limited stock, limited hours
Trophy & awards shop (Trophy Gallery Canada) Plaques, trophies, medals, corporate awards Built for awards and recognition, not a shelf of personal gifts
Jewelry engravers Rings, watches, jewelry you already own Jewelry-only equipment; won't touch a steel tumbler or water bottle
Order direct from a maker Finished engraved steel tumblers, bottles, and mugs, shipped to your door Not same-day: made to order, ships in 1–3 days

If you're engraving something you already own

Mississauga has real engraving shops, just not a dedicated personalized-gifts storefront the way the mall counter used to be. Trophy Gallery Canada builds plaques, trophies, medals, and corporate awards — they'll take a personal piece, but it's priced and scheduled like an awards job, not a walk-in gift counter. Royalty Engraving's Heartland Town Centre counter is the closest thing left to the old walk-in-and-wait experience, though it's a different mall than Square One and stock is limited compared to a standalone store. Local jewelry engravers handle rings and watches, but that equipment isn't built for stainless steel.

Call ahead with the item and the material. A laser calibrated for a trophy plaque or a gold ring isn't set up for a stainless tumbler, and a shop quoting sight-unseen is guessing.

If you're buying an engraved gift

This is the hole the mall counter used to fill. Things Engraved sold the item and the engraving as one purchase — pick a flask, add a name, walk out. What replaced it in Mississauga is either a limited-stock counter across town or a shop built for corporate awards, not gifts.

We took the direct route instead. LAMOSE makes the tumblers and bottles ourselves and engraves every order in our Calgary workshop: the laser cuts through the powder coat into bare steel, so a name can't fade, peel, or wash off. Engraving is included, not an add-on. Your order is made when you place it and ships to Mississauga in 1–3 business days. 7,577 Etsy reviews sit at 4.9 stars.

Two places to start:

  • Grouse 16 oz tumbler, $35. Double-wall 18/8 stainless steel, 6 hours hot, 12 hours cold, wide-mouth flip lid. The everyday cup people keep on their desk.
  • Robson 21 oz bottle, $40. 12 hours hot, 24 hours cold, one-hand sport cap. Still cold on the drive down the QEW.

See the Grouse — or add a name, a date, or coordinates to any piece and it ships engraved.

What about bulk orders in Mississauga?

Mississauga is home to Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada's busiest, and to the Canadian head offices of companies like Maple Leaf Foods and IMAX — a city built around corporate campuses, not just a Toronto suburb. That's a lot of onboarding kits, sales-team gifts, and client thank-yous that need to feel like more than a logo on a mug. A welcome gift for a new airport-adjacent logistics hire, a launch gift for a head office's first quarter, a thank-you for a client team — the workshop doesn't change, only the name on each piece does. Tell us about your project and we'll reply within one business day.
