What's actually worth checking before you order
- Is the mark actually permanent, or just printed on? A vinyl decal is a fine choice if you don't mind reordering next year. Engraving is the one-time version.
- Does it survive a communal dishwasher? A printed name that's dishwasher-safe on day one isn't always dishwasher-safe on day sixty. An engraved name has nothing on the surface to wash off.
