Someone hands you a bottle with a name cut into the side and the word LAMOSE on the back, and you look us up. This page used to answer that search with our 2017 launch announcement. It called the bottle the best in the world and called us a manufacturer. Neither holds up, so here is what a LAMOSE bottle actually is.
The short answer. LAMOSE is a Canadian company, founded in 2017 in Edmonton and now based in Calgary. Our bottles are double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel, made overseas and laser-engraved in Calgary. Most people should buy the Robson 21 oz at $40. A name is included, and the engraving is permanent.

What the name means
LAMOSE stands for Lake, Mountain, Sea. Every product is named after a Canadian place: Robson, Moraine, Grouse, Peyto. We started in 2017 at a kiosk in West Edmonton Mall. The engraving was the point then, and it still is.
Where they're made, plainly
The steel bottles are made overseas. We don't make the steel. What happens in Calgary is the part you're buying for: we laser-engrave your name, date or logo, send you a proof first, and ship it.
The laser cuts through the powder coat to bare steel. There's no ink sitting on top, so nothing peels. Our product pages still recommend hand-washing to keep the coat around the engraving looking new.
The 2017 version of this page also promised things we can't back with a test, like "world's highest quality." We took those out. If a claim isn't on the product page, it isn't here either.
Which LAMOSE bottle to buy
Five bottles, ranked by who they suit. Prices and specs are from the live product pages as of October 24, 2026.
| Bottle | Size | Cold / hot (product page) | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Robson 21 oz | 621 ml | 24 h cold | $40 | Most people. Slim, fits a standard cupholder and a gym bag. |
| Robson 14 oz | 414 ml | 24 h cold / 12 h hot | $20 | Kids, lunch boxes, small bags. Leak-proof sport cap. |
| Moraine 27 oz | 800 ml | 24 h cold / 12 h hot | $30 | Ice every morning. Wide mouth, 18/8 steel. |
| Robson 28 oz | 828 ml | 24 h cold | $40 | A full day of water with fewer refills. |
| Goose Kids 14 oz | 420 ml | 24 h cold | $36 | Young kids. Handle sized for small hands. |
My pick is the Robson 21. It's the one we'd hand a friend who asked for "a good bottle" and nothing else. Take the Robson 14 if it's going in a lunch box, or the Moraine if you fill it with ice every morning and want the wide mouth. For coffee rather than water, a bottle is the wrong shape. Look at a Peyto 16 oz tumbler instead.
Buying one, or buying twelve
One bottle with a name is the normal order. There's no minimum, and a name is included in the price. A logo adds $3.
Buying for a team or a family, the price drops with quantity and you can mix models: 20% off at 2, 30% at 3, 40% at 5 and 45% at 10 or more. At 10+, the Robson 21 comes to $22 each and the Moraine to $16.50. Shipping is free over $65.
Every order gets a proof within 24 hours. We engrave 1 to 3 business days after you approve it. For Christmas, personalized single gifts need to be ordered by Friday, December 11.
What people are really buying is the part you can't see on a spec sheet. It's a name, a date or a logo someone wanted to keep. Our Etsy shop has over 7,800 reviews at 4.9 stars. See every LAMOSE bottle.
